A brake lathe is a machine that corrects irregularities in rotors and drums. If the brake parts have worn unevenly or have surface rust, they can cause vibration and noise in the car's brakes. The brake lathe restores a smooth surface, returning the parts to optimal working order. What types of brake lathes are available from AMMCO?
A milling machine has Column and Base, Knee, Saddle and Swivel Table, Power Feed Mechanism, Table, Spindle, Over Arm/ Overhanging Arm, Arbor Support, and Ram. Column and base provide supports for the other parts of a milling machine. There is an oil reservoir and pump in the column to lubricate the spindle. The column rests on the base and also ...
The controller allows the machine to start at wind speeds of about 7–11 miles per hour (mph) and shuts off the machine when wind speeds exceed 55–65 mph. The controller turns off the turbine at higher wind speeds to avoid damage to different parts of the turbine. Think of the controller as the nervous system of the turbine.
This system has a quick-release knob on the top of the tool post that allows tool changes in less than 5 seconds, which makes this system valuable for production machine shops. WORK HOLDING DEVICES Many different devices, such as chucks, collets, faceplates, drive plates, mandrels, and lathe centers, are used to hold and drive the work while it ...
Brakes and clutches. For the unwinding and rewinding of rolls of any size and material. The Renova's brakes fit any kind of application and maintain constant the web tension throught the whole converting process. Companies that deal with the processing of materials in reels require excellent performance in the web tension control.
A typical dual-circuit braking system in which each circuit acts on both front wheels and one rear wheel. Pressing the brake pedal forces fluid out of the master cylinder along the brake pipes to the slave cylinders at the wheels; the master cylinder has a reservoir that keeps it full. Most modern cars have brakes on all four wheels, operated ...

Bridgeport mill brake 03-05-2020, 09:38 PM. I have a Bridgeport mill, it got the reeves drive on it, J2 head I think it's called. The spindle brake works, but I'm wondering if I'm supposed to be able to set and lock the brake on. It has a cam feature on the brake but it sure doesn't seem to want to go over center.
